The Year I Finally Saw the Wave

Every December, I slow down for a moment.
Not to rest… but to look back.
To understand the story of the year.
To listen to what life was trying to teach me.
This year — 2025 — was the first time I felt something bigger than myself moving.
A shift.
A calling.
A wave.
And I want to tell you this story — not just because it’s mine, but because you are standing in the same moment.
This Was the Year My Teaching Made Sense
I’ve always loved teaching.
But for many years, something wasn’t matching inside me.
I taught English, but I wasn’t teaching the results I wanted.
I saw fear in learners, hesitation, under-confidence… and no system truly solved it.
And then AI entered my life — not as a tool, but as a turning point.
Suddenly everything clicked.
I realised:
I was never meant to teach English.
I was meant to teach people how to practise English.
And AI was the missing piece.
This year, I finally saw the truth:
fluency comes from practice, not perfection.
Confidence comes from safety, not marks.
Independence comes from systems, not talent.
This clarity changed my entire mission.
This Was the Year Confluent Became a Movement
Confluent stopped being a “project.”
It became alive.
A mission.
A voice.
A promise.
A promise that you don’t need to be perfect to speak.
You don’t need expensive coaching.
You don’t need someone to “teach” you English.
You only need:
- courage,
- micro-practice,
- AI as your daily coach,
- and a belief that your voice matters.
This year, thousands of learners realised something powerful:
“You don’t need more English.
You need more practice, mindset, and flow.”
And my own purpose became sharper, deeper, clearer.
This Was the Year I Stopped Running Away From My Own Story
I stopped hiding my childhood.
I stopped hiding Kanpur.
I stopped hiding the boy who worked at weddings as a waiter.
I stopped hiding the assistant teacher who dreamed quietly.
I stopped hiding the young man who struggled with confidence.
I understood that my story is not a weakness — it is the bridge.
When I teach today, I’m not standing above you.
I’m standing beside you.
Because your fear is the same fear I lived.
Your hesitation is the same hesitation I carried.
Your voice is the same voice I once searched for.
This year, I accepted who I was — and who I am becoming.
This Was the Year I Truly Saw the AI Wave
People talk about AI like it’s a trend.
Like it’s a gadget.
Like it’s a shortcut.
But for the first time in my life, I saw AI as something else:
A once-in-human-history opportunity.
A wave that will not wait.
A chance to transform yourself completely — if you learn to ride it.
AI is not the future.
AI is the present.
This year, I realised:
People who learn to use AI
→ will learn faster
→ will communicate better
→ will earn more
→ will grow more
→ will become independent
And people who don’t…
will feel left behind even if they are talented.
That’s why Confluent exists.

This Was Also the Year I Understood You More Deeply

And Here Is My Message to You as the Year Ends
